Customer Facing
Description:
During stage or full migrations using MTC with OADP on OpenShift clusters configured with the new AWS plugin, the backup process intermittently fails with the following error in Velero logs:
error="read |0: file already closed"
Workaround:
Switching to the legacy AWS plugin resolves the issue. This requires:
- Setting velero_use_legacy_aws: true in the MigrationController CR
- Restarting the MTC operator to apply changes
- Ensuring proper AWS credentials via cloud-credentials secret
Workaround:
Switching to the legacy AWS plugin resolves the issue. which requires setting {{}}
velero_use_legacy_aws: true
}} in the {{MigrationController CR
